Now Hiring: Accountant / Fractional CFO Real Estate & Property Management Growing real estate brokerage and property management company seeking an experienced Accountant or Fractional CFO to oversee the financial operations of our expanding organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working with real estate investments, property management, and business strategy. We are looking for someone who can not only keep our financials accurate, but also provide insight that helps us grow profitably.
Responsibilities · Manage accounting operations for property management and brokerage activities · Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable · Reconcile trust accounts and operating accounts · Prepare monthly financial statements and owner reports · Monitor cash flow and company profitability · Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts · Manage payroll and contractor payments · Coordinate with CPA for tax preparation and year-end reporting · Analyze property and portfolio performance · Establish financial controls and internal accounting procedures · Assist ownership with acquisitions, investment analysis, and financing strategies · Create KPIs and financial dashboards for management · Support strategic growth initiatives and business planning
Preferred Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required) · Experience with real estate, property management, or commercial investments · Experience with AppFolio, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software · Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles · Excellent analytical and organizational skills · Ability to communicate financial information clearly to ownership and management
