About Us
WellSport is a small, growing multidisciplinary clinic offering chiropractic and physical therapy services in Austin. We’re looking for an experienced Fractional COO and/or Chief of Staff to help us streamline operations, strengthen our business fundamentals, and support our next phase of growth — without the commitment (or cost) of a full-time executive hire.
The Role
As Fractional COO and/or Chief of Staff, you’ll partner directly with clinic leadership to bring structure, strategy, and operational discipline to a fast-paced healthcare practice. This is a part-time, remote role, with a schedule that flexes around the needs of the business.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement systems, workflows, and SOPs to improve efficiency and patient experience
- Partner with clinic owners/providers on strategic planning and growth initiatives
- Support hiring, onboarding, and management of administrative and support staff
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation
- Serve as a operational point of contact for staff, vendors, and partners
- Act as a strategic right hand to clinic ownership, driving follow-through on key priorities and initiatives
- Help ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and industry best practices
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Prior experience serving as a COO and/or Chief of Staff (fractional or full-time)
- Strong operational and organizational leadership skills
- Ability to work remotely with occasional availability aligned to Austin, TX business hours
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with clinical staff and ownership
Preferred (not required):
- Experience in marketing strategy and execution (patient acquisition, local marketing, digital presence)
- Financial management experience (budgeting, forecasting, P&L oversight)
- Background in healthcare, wellness, or multidisciplinary clinical settings
- Familiarity with chiropractic or physical therapy practice operations

Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours based on business needs

Compensation: Commensurate with experience (fractional/consulting rate structure)
