Fractional Sales Executive – Healthcare

About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Healthcare Sales and Business Development professionals to support current and upcoming fractional healthcare opportunities.
This is a flexible, senior-level sales opportunity for professionals with a proven track record of generating new business, developing strategic relationships, and driving revenue.
Our opportunities span areas including healthcare services, specialty pharmacy, healthcare benefits, pharmacy solutions, health systems, providers, payers, and health technology.
Experience in specialty pharmacy, PBM, healthcare benefits, benefits brokerage, healthcare consulting, or the self-funded employer market is a strong plus, but is not required.
This is an active opportunity—not simply a registration or talent-pool exercise. Qualified candidates may be matched with opportunities that align with their experience, relationships, and market expertise.
What You’ll Do
- Generate new business and qualified sales opportunities.
- Leverage your existing healthcare relationships to open doors and secure meetings.
- Build relationships with healthcare decision-makers and organizations.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline from prospecting through close.
- Identify new markets, clients, referral sources, and strategic partners.
- Present healthcare products and services to prospective clients.
- Conduct consultative sales conversations focused on client needs and business value.
- Develop partnerships with providers, payers, employers, brokers, consultants, health systems, or other healthcare organizations.
- Work with internal teams to move qualified opportunities toward close.
- Independently manage your business development activities and pipeline.

You do not need experience in every area above. We value strong healthcare sales experience, industry relationships, commercial judgment, and the ability to generate business.
Requirements
- 5+ years of healthcare sales, business development, partnerships, or related commercial experience preferred.
- Proven ability to generate new business and revenue.
- Established relationships within the healthcare industry.
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to engage senior decision-makers and develop new opportunities.
- Comfortable managing a sales pipeline independently.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Comfortable with a fractional, performance-driven engagement.
Strong Plus — Not Required
- Specialty pharmacy or PBM experience
- Healthcare benefits or employee benefits experience
- Benefits broker/consultant relationships
- Self-funded employer relationships
- Experience with CFOs, CHROs, HR/Benefits leaders, TPAs, or senior healthcare executives
- Experience selling pharmacy cost-containment or specialty drug solutions
- Existing relationships with hospitals, health systems, physicians, payers, or employers
- Experience with employer groups of 1,000–20,000+ covered lives
Compensation
- 1099 / Independent Contractor
- Flexible, part-time/fractional engagement
- Performance-based commission
- Retainer opportunities may be available depending on the engagement and candidate fit
- Compensation varies by opportunity, scope, and commercial arrangement
- No fixed cap on earning potential
