About Us
We’re a consumer app technology platform (currently operating in confidential mode) building a private platform for families to capture, preserve, and share their most meaningful memories — with no feed, no followers, and no algorithm. We’re not another social media app. In fact, we’re the opposite: we’re defining a new category that gives families ownership of their moments and their story, away from public platforms.
We just launched, and we’re targeting seven-figure downloads within our first six months. The infrastructure is built — creator pipelines, paid media plans, and beyond connected relationships with influencers and access points to large populations, and a brand system we’re proud of. Now we need a senior marketing leader to orchestrate it all.
The Role
As our Fractional CMO, you’ll own growth strategy and marketing execution across every channel. You’ll work directly with the founding team and lead a growing bench of specialists (paid media, influencer/social) to hit ambitious download and conversion targets.
We currently have a contract marketing team in place which you would have oversight of to lead and guide.
What You’ll Do
- Own the growth plan: set targets, allocate budget across channels, and hold the team accountable to CAC, conversion, and retention metrics and DATES & TIMELINES.
- Oversee our team, who in return will achieve the following with your leadership.
- Grow our influencer program: we’ve built a pipeline of hundreds of family-focused creators (10K–250K followers) — you’ll turn that pipeline into a repeatable, measurable engine
- Oversee grass roots efforts, paid acquisition across social and connected TV/streaming, scaling monthly spend meaningfully through Q4 and managing agency relationships
- Steward the brand: we’ve invested heavily in category positioning, voice, and design — you’ll protect it while making it work harder in performance channels
- Build the measurement layer: attribution, funnel analytics, and creator ROI tracking across a substantial event taxonomy
- Recruit and manage marketing hires and agency partners as we scale
Who You Are
10+ years in consumer marketing with at least one 0-to-1 consumer app growth story you led (bonus if it was subscription-based)
Deep fluency in influencer/creator marketing, especially in the family, parenting, or lifestyle space
Hands-on experience with paid social and CTV/streaming media buying, including agency management
Analytically rigorous: you think in CAC, LTV, viral coefficients, and cohort retention — not impressions
Brand-literate: you understand that category creation is a marketing strategy, not just a tagline, and you can hold performance and brand in tension
Comfortable in an early-stage environment: scrappy, decisive, and allergic to committee thinking
Available to start quickly and ramp fast – We are talking a 9.1 start date.
