About the Role
We are seeking a Fractional Comptroller to support a Charlotte based non profit organization. This part time contract role is responsible for accurate financial reporting, transaction processing, and supporting the implementation and maintenance of financial systems across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee weekly contributions posting with support from an in house contribution clerk
Assist the HR Director with payroll processing
Manage weekly posting of electronic transactions to the general ledger
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for key accounts
Assist with implementation of RAMP software across organizational entities
Serve as the primary point of contact for catering service inventory accounting
Provide financial oversight and reporting to leadership in accordance with non profit accounting standards
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in accounting or financial management
Prior experience in a non profit environment strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of general ledger systems, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Experience with financial software implementation such as RAMP or similar platforms preferred
Experience managing inventory accounting processes
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
CPA designation or affiliation with an accounting firm is a plus
Contract Details
Fractional contract role requiring 20 to 25 hours per week
