Fractional Director of Operations Part Time

Black Girls Tennis Club is growing, and we’re searching for our operations machine — the person who will build and strengthen the internal engine that powers everything we do.

This is a fractional role to start, with the clear intention to evolve into a full-time position as we expand. If you thrive in structure, systems, and mission-driven work, this role is for you.

We need someone who thinks in process, breathes logistics, and is always ten steps ahead.

Your superpowers include:

• Building budgets (from scratch), timelines, run-of-shows, schedules, and operational systems
• Creating and maintaining SOPs that keep the entire organization aligned
• Managing workflow, onboarding + off-boarding, contracts, payroll, and documentation
• Booking team travel (flights, housing, drivers, transportation) and coordinating logistics + shipments, while tracking
• Organizing our Google Drive and establishing clean naming conventions
• Supporting leadership with strategic planning and seamless execution
• Keeping projects moving calmly, gracefully, and on time
• Troubleshooting, anticipating needs, and leading with clarity

Understands creative environments and stays focused, grounded, and organized, even when a lot is happening at once.

This is not a front-facing role. We’re seeking someone grounded in service, someone committed to doing the work that strengthens the mission and supports the team. No ego zone.
