NURSE PRACTITIONER – (Medical Spa) Fractional CO2 Laser Specialist
We are seeking a Nevada-licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) with experience and/or formal training in aesthetic laser treatments to perform fractional CO2 laser skin resurfacing at our medical spa.
IMPORTANT – NP LICENSE REQUIRED (Registered Nurse only licenses not accepted)
This position is specifically for a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Active Nevada Nurse Practitioner license is REQUIRED.
- RNs who do not hold a Nurse Practitioner license are NOT eligible for this position!
- Applications from RNs without an NP license will not be considered.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform fractional CO2 laser skin resurfacing treatments
- Conduct patient consultations and assessments
- Determine patient suitability based on medical history, skin condition, contraindications, and treatment goals
- Select appropriate treatment parameters based on individual needs and device protocols
- Provide pre- and post-treatment instructions
- Recognize and appropriately manage potential adverse reactions and complications
- Follow all applicable safety, infection-control, and medical protocols
- Maintain a professional, patient-focused experience
Qualifications
- Active Nevada Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in good standing – REQUIRED
- Formal training in aesthetic laser procedures
- Laser certification(s) – documentation of completed training/certification required
- Previous fractional CO2 laser-specific training
- Hands-on laser training and demonstrated competency
- Knowledge of laser safety, laser-tissue interaction, skin anatomy and physiology, patient assessment, indications/contraindications, treatment parameters, and complication management
- Experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or cosmetic laser treatments is preferred
CO2 Laser Training & Experience
Candidates should provide documentation of relevant laser education and training.
Candidates with fractional CO2 laser experience should include the device(s)/laser platform(s) they have operated and their level of experience.
Preference will be given to candidates who can provide documentation of hands-on fractional CO2 laser training and competency evaluation.
