Are you an experienced office administrator who has worked in a tax and accounting firm? Can you manage a small remote team, ensuring all non-core operations run smoothly.
Your role:
HR/Payroll:
- Process internal and client payrolls using Gusto and other platforms
- Manage staff onboarding / HR documentation
- Maintain employee records, track PTO and other HR documentation
Office Admin:
- Manage firm’s inbox and calendar
- Maintain Google Workspace and firm
- Handle the workflow system in TaxDome; creating jobs and task assignments
- Monitor payments of vendors and suppliers
Client Services:
- Be the first point of contact with prospective and current clients, via email and telephone.
- Respond to client requests and be the liaison between tax professionals and clients
- Handle client invoicing and receive payments
Email Marketing
- Plan and send monthly email campaigns to clients
- Oversee the social media accounts and follow up on leads
- Track basic engagement metrics and report results to the firm owner as required.
You will be expected to utilize and incorporate AI tools in all of the above.
You will report to the firm owner and be available on Eastern time.
Requirements:
- You must be tech savvy with a minimum of 4 years experience working with the tax and accounting industry.
- You must know the industry lingo (W2, 1040, S Corp, Balance Sheet, etc). However, the most important qualifications are a can-do, positive attitude, willingness to learn and use your initiative and professionalism with clients and staff.
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
Compensation
$ 25 – $ 35 per hour
