Porta Strategies is seeking a highly experienced compliance executive to serve as a Fractional Chief Compliance Officer for an international humanitarian nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading enterprise compliance programs with particular expertise in AML/CFT, OFAC and global sanctions compliance, anti-bribery and corruption, donor due diligence, humanitarian aid compliance, third-party risk management, and nonprofit governance.
This executive will work directly with organizational leadership and the Board to establish and oversee a best-in-class compliance framework supporting international humanitarian, medical, educational, and charitable operations in diverse global environments.

- Senior Humanitarian or NGO Compliance Executive
- International Development or Global Aid Compliance Experience
- Experience operating in higher-risk or conflict-affected regions
Preferred Credentials
- CAMS | CFCS | CFE | CRCM | CCEP | CIA
- JD or equivalent legal qualification
- Relevant government or regulatory experience
This fractional executive role is designed for a seasoned compliance professional capable of providing strategic, Board-level guidance while building and maintaining a robust compliance framework consistent with international best practices and donor expectations.
Compensation: Up to $350 per hour (up to approximately $14,000 per month based on a 40-hour monthly commitment)
