Position Overview
PIBC Holdings & Co is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as the senior financial executive for the holding company and its portfolio of subsidiaries.
Unlike a traditional fractional CFO role, this executive will serve as the CFO of PIBC Holdings & Co while also acting as the Interim CFO for newly acquired banks and operating companies when needed. As acquisitions are completed and permanent CFOs are recruited, the Fractional CFO will transition back into an oversight role, providing strategic guidance across the organization while supporting future acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Chief Financial Officer for PIBC Holdings & Co.
- Act as Interim CFO for newly acquired banks and subsidiaries until permanent financial leadership is appointed.
- Lead post-acquisition financial integration, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Develop financial strategies that improve profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term shareholder value.
- Build scalable accounting, treasury, FP&A, and reporting functions that can be transitioned to local finance teams.
- Support bank acquisitions, mergers, due diligence, valuations, and financial modeling.
- Assist with capital raising, liquidity management, and strategic financial planning.
- Work closely with executive leadership, Boards of Directors, regulators, auditors, and external advisors.
- Mentor and onboard incoming CFOs, Controllers, and finance teams to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
- Establish standardized financial policies and reporting frameworks across the PIBC portfolio while allowing each institution to maintain its unique identity and community focus.

Compensation
Compensation will consist of a competitive fractional consulting fee, with the opportunity for performance-based incentives, equity participation, and transition into a full-time executive leadership role as the company grows.
